The Police K-9 and Service Dog Division of Shiloh K-9 DTS is located on Shiloh K-9's beautiful 4 1/2 acre fenced in facility in Stoneville NC. With access to over 300 wooded and field acres, and multiple buildings to include a climate controlled training center, the facilities are state of the art.
Training Director Adam Witherspoon began his training career in 1996 training police dogs. He has since trained over 500 dogs for just about every need imaginable. He has attended a master trainer's school, seminars, classes, and roundtables instructed by people like Cesar Millan, Wendy Volhard, Marc Goldberg, Peter Nunez, and Martin Deeley just to name a few. He is a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals, The Eastern States Working Dog Association and an Evaluator for the AKC Canine Good Citizen Program. He has been featured on WXII 12 news, WLOE radio, and writes a monthly article for the Eden's Own Journal. He is a member of Osborne Baptist Church in Eden NC where he and his family is Actively involved, as well as member of the Madison Mayodan Rotary Club International.
Valerie began her career as a young girl working in veterinary medicine as a vet technician. She has a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Vermont in Animal Science, and brings an incredible insight of veterinary medicine to the facility. As assistant training director, she is compassionate and caring, being able to reach dogs many say are "beyond help". A member of the International Association of Canine Professionals, she the epitomy of honesty and integrity.
